Gross interest rate calculated annually on balances up to €1,000,000, with no minimum amount. Interest accrues daily on the current account balance calculated at the end of the day and is paid, for each calendar month, in a lump sum during the first business days of the following calendar month, net of any applicable tax withholdings, via direct deposit to the current account.
During the first six months from the date of account opening, a gross interest rate of 3% applies. After the first six months and until December 31, 2027, which may be extended at the Bank’s initiative, the gross interest rate will be paid, at no rate lower than 25% of the interest rate on deposits held with the ECB (“Deposit Facility”) calculated on the day before the start of each quarter. The interest rate on deposits held with the ECB can be found on the website www.ecb.europa.eu. The Bank will inform the Customer of the interest rate that will be applied in the reference quarter at the start of each quarter.
